Patrick Mckinnon
Head Coach
Patrick started his martial arts journey as Lead Strength and Conditoning coach at Shooters Dundee in 2011. It was here he learnt the fundamentals of Mixed Martial Arts, Submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
In 2015, Patrick left Dundee for work in England and trained Muay Thai at Genesis Gym in Marlow until moving back up to Scotland in 2017.
November 2017 is when Patrick started Promethean Mixed Martial arts in East Lothian.

Zander Macdonald
BJJ & Kids BJJ Coach
Zander started training in 2019 with the aim of getting back into competitive sports.
Since then he has gone on to compete in some of the biggest tournaments in Europe; including the most recent ADCC trials.
He has coached both child & adult athletes who have gone on to compete locally and internationally; picking up podium spots on the way.
Iain Scott
Judo Coach & Assistant BJJ Coach
Iain has been involved with grappling sports since the early 90's.
As a competitive 1st Dan and Judo coach he brings his passion and knowledge of both Tachi-waza and Ne-waza into his shared interest in BJJ.
Supporting the development of Judo based skills and fundamental BJJ, Iain is always keen to support the development of Promethean members.

Lauren Peattie
Ladies Muay Thai Coach
Lauren has been training in Muay Thai since she was 8 years old. Having recently joined the coaching staff, she is eager to pass on the skills she has developed over the years of training and competition. Laurens passion comes from seeing beginners progress through the ranks and assist in their development. Her current goal is to introduce as many ladies as possible to Muay Thai through running the ladies classes.
